Project title: "Restoration of Eleja Manor Premises".

Project partner: The Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU).
Total eligible costs: 293 346.69 euro.

The amount of support - 85% of eligible costs, not more than 249 334.69 euro of which:

EEA co-financing - 85% of eligible costs, not more than 211 942.99 euro;

National co-financing - 15% of the total eligible costs, not more than 37 401.70 euro;

Co-fianncing of the beneficiary - 15% of hte total eligible project costs, not moret han 44 002.00 euro.
Planned project start date: 28.08.2014.  
Duration of the project: 20 months.  

Venue: Elejeas Manor park, Jelgava District. 

Project discription: Eleja Manor and adjoining premises is an architectural monument of national significance, which once was an outstanding construction model in Europe. The tea house and stone fence, which are parts of the monument, currently are in extremely poor condition and are dangerous to visitors.
Project objective: restoration and preservation of the architectural monument of national significance – Eleja Manor tea house and stone fence thus contributing to capacity building of restoration experts and renewing the public significance of culture heritage sites.
Target audience: residents, tourists, students of vocational schools, experts.     

Project activities:  

1. Restoration and facilitation of tea house and of arch-shaped stone fence for safe use thereof.

2. Summer school for restoration experts and hands-on traineeship for 15 restoration experts to-be.

3. Experience exchange trip of experts to Norway. 
4. Project publicity and information events.

5. Project administration and management.
